Lucy Liu will be starring in a movie called Rise coming out later this year. In it she plays a reporter turned vampire, from there it take a Kill Bill kind of turn.Sebastian Gutierrez directed the film which also features Michael Chiklis and Marilyn Manson. Gutierrez is also writing the script for the American remake of the Pang Brothers film The Eye.

Not that I have a problem with it, but does it seem like there's a lot of "vampire" or "gothy" type movies being made, or is it just that you have a tendency to focus on them?
