Apparently I'm cheating this week and only approving movies as opposed to reviewing or rating them. You know what though? I'm okay with that. Besides, why create the neat rubber stamp logo if I'm not going to use it?

I really liked Hellboy II. Probably for the same reasons I like del Toro's other movies. The fantasy elements, the dramatic use of color, great special effects and fun stories. The only disapointment about Hellboy II is that it felt a little weak after Pan's Labyrinth. I just fely like del Toro could have done so much more with it.
